Three Years

It was 3 years ago on October 16 that I lost my mom. What a loss to our little family.

One Tree, Heroes, and True Blood

So my daughter and I watch One Tree Hill together, it's a mom and kid thing even if she is 17. CSI Miami is one of my faves due to good ol' Horation lmao. I have not been able to get into the Vegas CSI. Then we have Heroes. What can I say, I'm a well rounded couch potato.

As for True Blood, it certainly keeps the attention. Anna Paquin is doing great as Sookie. I love the twist of humor that is in the show. Jason is definitely is being a horndog but hey, you have to have one on a show. It wasn't this defined in the books lol.

It's about time to claim my spot on couch.

Bones

Tonight on the tube is Bones featuring David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel. It's criminal/anthropology detective show. I've been a fan of David since Buffy and Angel so I had to follow him to see what this show is about. So far, I've not been too disappointed. Tune in, you may enjoy.

HBO's True Blood

This show is based on the books of Charlaine Harris; Southern Vampire Series featuring Sookie Stackhouse as the main character. Sookie is a telepath who can read minds except vampires. She gets involved with vamps, were's and witches. I love the books. I've read each one and own them as well. The version of HBO's is sexually graphic in comparison to the book, it does not follow the book but there is plenty of humor. I still like what I'm seeing though. I'll continue to watch it. Last night's epi had the humor, sex and character back history and character exploration. I made a little "Wordle" of last nights epi. Wordle's is an application where you can create "clouds" of words using different fonts, color schemes with the click of your mouse. The clicking of your mouse randomly creates your word cloud. http://wordle.net It's a fun little toy.
Ok, off to see some CSI.

Autumn is here

The leaves are slowly changing, showing us Mother Nature's color pallet. The bright oranges, reds and golds show us their brilliance but will soon fade as winter creeps in. Am I ready for the cold? Not so much. =:) I am going to enjoy Mother Nature's pallet.
